With the Oklahoma City Thunder making a late-season charge into the NBA Playoffs, we had the opportunity to partner with the Thunder and the OKC Streetcar to create some eye-catching extra buzz around the excitement of the playoff run. The OKC Thunder and EMBARK wanted to have some of the streetcars partially wrapped with player images. The timing was tight, and this was a new project for us, but our team worked in conjunction with our local install crew, the OKC Thunder, and the staff at EMBARK to make sure that everything ran smoothly.
With our consistent dedication and commitment to doing what’s in our clients’ best interests, we made sure that the Houck team, the OKC Thunder, and the OKC Streetcar/EMBARK crews were all moving swiftly towards the same end goal of getting these wraps on as quickly as possible.
Within a little more than a week, we were able to design, print, ship, and install 8 player wraps on the OKC Streetcars that helped fuel quite a bit of additional hype for the Thunder around their playoff run.
Working with Houck Transit Advertising gave us the opportunity to bring the Oklahoma City Thunder brand to life in a larger-than-life and dynamic manner via the new Oklahoma City Streetcar during the NBA Playoffs. The process from start to finish was seamless and we are honored to be the first brand to utilize this platform in OKC. The local response was very strong with fan selfies and other engagement via digital media, which really brought home the value of utilizing this medium in a meaningful manner to energize the market at an important time of year for our brand.
